The Center for Service & Community Engaged Learning (CSCEL) serves as a resource to encourage and support the members of JSU who wish to get involved in community service locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. The CSCEL is comprised of seven active programs: (1) Alternative Breaks, (2) AmeriCorps,
(3) Community Service, (4) Community Service Work Study, (5) Student Service Ambassador, (6) Service Learning and the (7) National Student Exchange. Our goal is to assist our students in developing the skills necessary to be civically responsible citizens and to take action on social issues that are important to them.
